Singapore: Vip Hotel @ Orchard (review)

VIP Hotel at Orchard in Singapore

Review :
Vip hotel at Orchard is quite expensive and the location is not convenient.
Though if you are there just to relax or want a quiet place then this is for you.
This more like a condominium rather than a hotel, the room is really big.
Quite a luxury.

Pros:
The room is really BIG.
Has swimming pool
The staffs are nice.
( we had a problem with the booking there, the staffs and even the manager
help us solve it, I'm really impressed. )
Available breakfast

Cons:
they have wifi, but only for 1 gadget, for the 2nd gadget you will be charged
The location is not good, this place is VERY FAR from everything (sightseeing, restaurants, stations, etc)
Front desk machines  not good ( got a bad experience)

Singapore'15 : Off to Singapore [July 2015]

Singapore Trip - July 20, 2015- July 24, 2015

My first trip to abroad this year, a place I really want to go back for a long time. But this was also the first trip that was really unplanned since I’ve been busy
Singapore is one of the best countries for me to travel ever since I got hooked up with travelling.

Actually this is my 4th trip to Singapore already and it never fails to amaze me. Why?  Very diverse.  You will meet a lot of foreigners there and some have already decided to live in Singapore. Most of them are Indians, Malaysians, Chinese, Americans and met few Filipinos there, Why? Singapore is one of the safest countries I’ve been to; the people there are really disciplined and they obey the strict rules. For real!. Transportation? Well I will admitted that I always travel with a travel group or take a taxi but for this tour I decided to take the trains, and YES it is really EASY and CHEAP.
The foods? Some travelers would think that the food would cost expensive, yes if you will dine in a expensive restaurants but if you prefer to taste different varieties of cuisine there I suggest roam around. Trust me there are lots of dishes there to try like Chinese food, Indian foods, Japanese foods, Malaysian foods, Thai foods and of course Singaporean foods.  Based from my experience budget would be around S$ 5-10 for a meal and S$1-3 for some snacks. But I would admitted that I splurge a lot when it comes to foods since why not, I am in a Singapore and I love the foods there.

Airline ticket : Booked a flight from Philippine Airlines  months before the trip and got it way cheaper than the regular price. For like around 30%-40% off.
And I have been travelling a lot with this airline so I am comfortable with them .
From Davao City to Singapore we had our luggage check thru to avoid rush once we arrived in NAIA.

Accommodation :
VIP Hotel - 2015 review
Hotel 81 Bugis- 2015 review
Bayview Hotel-  My fave :)
the location is good, the food is superb, though they are quite pricey but worth it
Summer view hotel -2010- this was our 1st hotel when we went to Singapore years ago.
The location was nice since it is quite the center in Singapore, you can go around

Where to Eat: there are lots of restaurants or fastfoods there :)
Transportation:
Taxi : be mindful that there are "peak hours" means the fee is much higher.
Trains: Fast,Comfortable but quite pack sometimes, just go to any 7/11 you can buy your card there or go directly to the station.

End :)
