Universal Studios Japan + Halloween Experience

My favorite part of this trip is to visit Universal Studios Japan, since the day it opened I really wanted to go here. My first reason why I am really looking forward for this trip.

We had an early start since I've heard that there will be a long line in the ticket booth and the Express pass is only limited. We left 7am from the hotel and arrived at the USJ 8am and the fast pass was sold out already. Maybe because it was silver week/holiday in Japan.
Studio pass/ Ticket fee: 7400 yen with tax

Most of the USJ attractions can be found inside a building, more like indoor attraction
compare to USS. But there are lots of people in USJ comapre to USS, I was really shocked by the number of the people there. That's why express pass is really needed, there will be long lines everywhere. Waiting time is 1-2hours in USJ meanwhile in USS 30 minutes is already long.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
A must for wizards and witches though they tolerate muggles there :)
This is the most popular attraction in USJ, this place will always be packed.
From the entrance you can see people running to the entrance to get a timed ticket.
Maybe because since there are lots of people there they need need to control.
Waiting time is mostly a minimum of 1 hour.

Timed Ticket

Just follow the people running or you can go to the entrance where sesame street is near located.
There will be staffs who will be assisting you, If you have a group, you can just have 1 representative to claim your timed tickets just bring the studio pass/ticket with you.

Important reminder: You are only allowed to go inside ONCE, after that you cannot get another timed ticket. But you can stay as long as you want there. Be mindful of your timed ticket for example ours was 9:10-10:10 that means we can go inside by that time only, if we were late we cannot go inside anymore, In our case we stayed our whole morning there until 2pm.

Hogsmeade

I am seriously amazed by the view. I mean wow it really feels that you are part of the Harry Potter movie, it was just so surreal to be there. They really copied it very well.
The moment you go inside you can hear the Harry Potter theme song playing.
People there are wearing their Harry Potter costumes.

In hogsmeade you can purchase your wizards and witches' requirements to Hogwarts.
Honeydukes- a sweets shop. You can find the famous flavor beans and chocolate frogs there.
Olivanders-wands is a must!
Zonko's- School uniforms and apparels.
Flich emporium-Argus Filch's collection and treasures.

We had an early lunch since we thought by the time it's already noon people will be lining in the restaurant which it did happen.

Luckily when we went to Three Broomsticks (restaurant) there were only few people.
The food was expensive but if you wanted to complete the Harry Potter experience then it's worth it.

Butter beer is delicious, it's not alcoholic but more like a sweet drink.

There are street performance from time to time just check the schedule.

It could be Hogwarts' choir performed by the representatives of the four Hogwarts houses.
Also my favorite was the performances of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in 4K3D- ride

No cameras allowed inside but this is a must.

Not for those who have faints hearts or fear of heights.
It felt like you are part of the movie, riding on a broomstick and fighting with monster.
How cool is that!

Universal Studios Japan has a lot of attractions from younger ones to adults.
In our case, we just roamed around ,take some pictures, and shop.
Almost every rides has a long line.

We almost missed out the parade. It was so colorful and pretty.

Since it was Halloween, people there are wearing their best Halloween costumes.

The different between USS and USJ is that in USJ people can wear costumes inside the park that is why mascots are rarely to be seen there. Meanwhile in USS mascots or people who portray a said character can be found everywhere.
