Singapore 2016: Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the bay

A MUST on the list when travelling to Singapore.
An unbelievable man-made forest, well most of it.
When you've had enough stress in the city, a writer's block,
looking for new ideas or just wants to relax then this is the place.
Stroll around, forget your worries, take time to breath and just appreciate the nature.
It is so peaceful and quiet there, perfect for yoga indeed.

I regretted that I didn't go here before.
Well basically I just discovered this place recently before we went to Singapore.

It is really a famous destination in Singapore but since it's kinda far
I am hesitating if we should go or not.

But I am so wrong , the train station's exit is near Gardens by the bay.
When we arrived there we were shocked .
It is really a breathtaking view.
I highly recommend this place especially for those
who  wants to take their wedding prenup photos, debut, or any photo shoots.

Gardens by the bay is huge.
Has lots of different spots, there are 2 big domes (Flower dome and Cloud dome) ,
You can walk or ride the service car there to explore the area.
Since we were too early and there are no visitors yet we chose to walk.
It is hot but worth it.
The advantage of riding the service car there is that it is convenient and you
will arrive to your preferred destination.

Flower Dome
From the name itself , there are lots of flowers and plants inside.
It is a very huge garden.
Almost all flowers and plants around the world can be found there.

I am allergic to pollen but this amazed me, I didn't get sick inside there.

When you first enter the dome you will be greeted by lots of succulents.
Inspires me to put one in my room.
Succulents are great indoors.

There are interesting designs/figures inside the dome.
For instance there is a wood dragon there or some bunny figurines.

Interesting flowers as well are present there, this one looks like a sunny side up egg.

The place is so pretty you can take lots of good pictures there,

Behind me there are different type of cherry blossoms.

Flower dome is also updated to what is in season.
For example this one, they are already planting tulips in
preparation for the tulips season.
something like that :)

Pathway to & from the flower dome.

Cloud Dome
Cold . . . .. the temperature here is really cold.

Cloud dome has a lots of plants that can be seen on higher mountains.
It felt like you are hiking on the mountain, there are lots of levels/floors until you reach the top.
You can choose to walk or take an elevator.
From the top : Lost world, the cavern, crystal mountain, earth check and secret garden.

While walking you can see lots of rare plants there.
A lot !
Also walking to reach the top is really safe but if you have fear of hights
then maybe you can skip the idea of reaching the top.

If you don't like going to the top then you can just stay below.
There also interesting plants there as well.

To make it more feel like that you are in the mountain.
They have crystal museum inside.
But i am not sure if it;s fake or not since it looks so REAL.

How much do you know about our environment? you might want to try "Earth check".
It is located before the exit.

Hungry ? tired? Want to shop ?

There are souvenir shops, fast food chains and  restaurants there.

Next time I will visit this place in the evening.
I've heard that in the evening the lights there are spectacular.
Aside from you can relax here,  you will also gain knowledge.
This place is really HUGE.
Here are some of the  interesting parts of  gardens by the bay

admission fee  :
Gardens by the bay is FREE but some parts of it is not.
Free admission consist of the outer gardens:
Bay east garden, Super tree grove, Sun pavillion, heritage gardens, world of plants and Dragonfly and Kingfisher lakes

Singapore 2016: K-live at Resorts World Sentosa

A Kpop fan's heaven.
K-live at Resorts World Sentosa is one of the newest attraction and a popular destination for kpop fans. The place is a little bit tricky to find since it is quite hidden in Sentosa. You can find it in the Korea Town or near the trick eye.

You can watch your favorite JYP idols in K-live via hologram. I personally squealed when it showed GOT7. And it was kinda a vip experience since during that time there were only 3 of us watching.
I won't spoil anything but this is heaven for kpop enthusiasts.

The price is quite expensive but definitely worth it!
My only concern is that there are times when they are closed. When I 1st went there it was closed, though in the schedule it is said to be open. So I went there the next day again.

(wearing my GOT7-  Just right's Mark hoodie )

You are not allowed to take any pictures inside but you can get a souvenir picture from them.

The Insadong Korea Town has a lot of Korean restaurants there. Some are pricey, some are affordable but if you have been craving for Korean food then this is the place.
The restaurant behind me is really affordable and the food is great.
You can also find Missha there, one of the best and popular skin care and cosmetics in South Korea.

I would definitely visit this place again with my co-kpop fans  :)
