Singapore day2 : Hindu Temple + Mustafa (Little India)

July 21,2015

Had an early start, after we ate our breakfast we went to Bugis. Since we need to transfer to a different hotel.

Review about the hotel :
Hotel 81 Bugis

Little india :

The distance from our hotel to Mustafa is kinda near, you can just walk and it would take 15-20 minutes.
Plus you can see lots of  interesting place while going there.

You can see the famous Sri veeramakaliamman temple .

#SGheritage
Sri Veeramakaliamman temple at 141, Serangoon Road is one of the oldest Hindu temples at Little India in Singapore.

You can take pictures outside and inside as long as you respect the worshipers inside and be quiet.
But I suggest not to take pictures inside since it will bother the people there, instead appreciate the designs inside. It is really spectacular !
Also take off you shoes outside and observe dress code.

Next:  Mustafa (Little India )
Mustafa is a big mall located at Serangoon.
You can find most Indian fashion and Souvenirs here.

There are 2 money changers in Mustafa: beside Mustafa or inside, near jewelry section.
All currencies are acceptable and you can exchange it SG dollar, but be reminded that the rates are different everyday.

Mustafa is a well known 24 hour shopping mall.
It is really big and has lot of things to offer.
From electronics, Indian grocery, chocolates, souvenirs and etc.

+
The clothes are quite expensive compare to other shops but the designs are superb.
Lots of varieties to choose from.  They have small sizes but kinda rare.
It is quite unique since you can't find similar clothes there with same design or color.

What I like about in Mustafa is the Chocolates section, the prices are really CHEAP and there are lots of expensive brands there. So yeah if you have a chocolate addiction  like me then this is our place <3

Next is if you want to buy some Indian foods/or something from groceries then you can purchase it here.  They have a big supermarket under, I bought some papad, spices, Indian style snacks and some microwavable foods to bring  back at home just in case I will be craving for it.

For a foreigner, a souvenir is a must.
They have a wide range of souvenir items there like; photo cards, key chains, merlions, shirts, etc.

Hungry ? In front of Mustafa there is a Indian Restaurant that is serves delicious foods.
Every time I visit Mustafa I always dine here. Plus the place is clean and has AC.
Chicken Biryani is superb ^^
The prices are  affordable compare to other restaurants. If you like to try Indian delicacies then I really recommend this place :)
